Pajé Maná Madhá
Pajé Maná Madhá received the name “Santo” from his own people, which already reveals much about his noble mission in service of healing. As explained by Putanny and Biraci Nixiwaká, leaders of the Yawanawá, Maná and his wife Ratsuhá are considered “ people from 500 years ago” and “kings” of spirituality. Maná has received a traditional training that only very few pajés still possess today. He holds extraordinary knowledge of plants and a technique of spiritual healing that, in some cases, allows him to take the illness of his patients into his mouth and materialize it into small stones, which he then spits out. He has already healed many people from severe illnesses – both physical andspiritual.
